SETTING UP A HOME STUDIO
(AND WHERE TO  PUT IT WHEN YOU HAVE NO
SPACE!)
SELECT AN EASEL THAT FITS
YOUR NEEDS AND SPACE.
TRY TO FIND A SPACE OUT OF
THE TRAFFIC FLOW AND
NEAR A SOURCE OF GOOD
LIGHT.  AN OTT LIGHT WILL
WORK TO A DEGREE, BUT
THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.
IN MANY PLACES (LIKE HOME)
SPACE IS AT A PREMIUM.  THE
KITCHEN TABLE ONLY WORKS
TO A POINT, AND IF YOU HAVE
A FAMILY, YOUR WORK IS NOT
SAFE THERE!
TRY TO BE ORGANIZED AS MUCH AS
POSSIBLE.  A TABORET ON WHEELS
WILL MOVE OUT OF THE WAY WITH
EASE WHEN NECESSARY.  SOME OF
THEM HAVE DRAWERS, BUT SHELVES
SERVE EQUALLY AS WELL.
IF YOU PREFER TO WORK ON A TABLE, TRY A
"SEWING TABLE".  THEY ARE SMALLER THAN A
CARD TABLE AND A GOOD HEIGHT FOR A CHAIR
OR STOOL.    GET ONE THAT FOLDS SO YOU CAN
STASH IT WHEN COMPANY COMES.
AN OFFICE CHAIR IS NICE - IT'S GOT WHEELS, AND
ARE REASONABLY PRICED THESE DAYS.  IF YOU
DON'T HAVE ONE, OR DON'T WANT ONE, GET A
KITCHEN CHAIR, OR A TALLER STOOL THAT WILL
ALLOW YOU TO BE COMFORTABLE AT THE EASEL.
CHOOSE YOUR SUPPLIES TO FIT YOUR STORAGE SPACE.  YOU'D
BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH A TABORET WILL HOLD.  MAKE A
COVER FOR IT IF YOU LIKE, OR GET ONE OF THOSE PLANT
COVERS OR OUTDOOR GRILL COVERS TO HIDE IT.  PAINT
PALLETS  WILL STACK OF NOT UN USE, AND ALL KINDS OF
PLASTIC CONTAINERS ARE AVAILABLE AT CRAFT STORES.
THIS IS MY TEMPORARY
WORKSPACE, TABORET AND
TABLE.  MICHAEL'S HAS THE
CARTS ON WHEELS AND EVEN
COVERS THAT WILL MAKE THE
TOP SHELF INTO A TABLE.
